EDD Shaker Version 1.0 Custom Cam for 94′-03′ 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel
The EDD “Shaker” camshaft in comparison to the factory 7.3L camshaft. The Shaker cam is designed to be a MILD performance upgrade designed to make the engine breathe better and produce more power and torque. The factory camshaft has proven to be overly restrictive, where the EDD Shaker’s goal is to remedy those downfalls. With slightly adjusting those valve events and utilizing new profile’s designed around the Power Stroke valve train. This allows the engine to breathe better and more efficiently. Which increases more torque and horsepower capabilities. Without sacrificing drivability of the engine. These profiles and valve events have been designed to maintain compatibility with stock turbo, injectors, pistons and valve springs. Which allows the turbo to spool up quicker and utilize the air being consumed into the engine. You can expect IMPROVED LOW-END TORQUE. With STRONGER acceleration into the mid-range RPM levels leading to increased HORSEPOWER that is deserved at higher RPM Levels.
Noted: Actual Road Testing has shown that the EDD Shaker delivers increased MPG, when both situations of loaded and unloaded pulling a trailer has lower EGT’s!
“The EDD Shaker is designed to accommodate to a stock layout of air & fuel calibrations. Though additional benefits will be realized with minor changes. That being upgraded sized injectors and known drop in turbo platforms. This recommended range is with using a stock sizing injectors all the way up into the range of a 180cc size injector. All of these upgrades will only further develop benefits offered by the EDD Shaker cam. Very few camshaft options allow for increases in torque and power across a BROAD RPM Range with being able to increase fuel efficiency. “This is the camshaft that the 7.3L Power Stroke should have received from the Factory”

The EDD Shaker is custom ground on a BRAND NEW 5160 STEEL CORE! The specs and profiles that have been chosen have been thru ACTUAL results of REAL WORLD TESTING in REAL WORK TRUCKS installed by our GREAT CUSTOMERS.
This EDD Shaker cam is compatible with stock valve spring setups. As well as our upgraded valve spring options. Though not required. WE ALWAYS DO RECOMMEND valve spring replacement on a higher mileage engine. THERE IS NO NEED FOR VALVE POCKETS. IF PISTON PROTRUSION NUMBERS are less than or equal to OEM SPECIFICATION.
