Description

 

EDD Shaker Version 1.0 Custom Cam for 94′-03′ 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel 

 The EDD “Shaker” camshaft in comparison to the factory 7.3L camshaft. The Shaker cam is a MILD performance upgrade designed to make the engine breathe better and produce more power and torque. In comparison to the stock cam, it improves the opening and closing of the intake and exhaust valves to work with being open longer, which allows more air to be ingested into the engine. This then also helps the exhaust gases to scavenge more efficiently. This being the end results, you now have stronger acceleration and more improved low end torque increases. All this adds in a lot quicker and faster for being able to also get the mid-range and higher-RPM power results.
Noted: With this positive side effect of more efficient fuel curves. The Power Control Module is now re-adjusting for the better air induction being increased. Power is now able to be more efficient with better torque. That leaves mileage being increased as another POSITIVE SIDE EFFECT!
“This cam is designed within the profiles to accommodate to a stock layout of air & fuel SETUPS. Along with known drop-in turbo options.  This recommended range is with using a stock sizing injectors all the way up into the range of a 180cc size injector. That then matches up with the with OEM Platform style turbos. With even more added advantages by going to slightly modified turbo and a Drop-in style turbo’s. It all develops within a combination that increases the power, fuel efficiency, and balances out how the engine makes more torque and power across a wider RPM range.”
